Transform-A-Poem™ Number Sixteen

The heart wants what it wants.
Or does it?

The brain believes it knows
… what the heart wants?
Or is it what the brain wants?

Does the heart want anything
… or does it only understand?

Does the brain project its goals
… onto the understanding heart?

The heart is home to the inner child.
Does that part of us want things?

The heart holds the flame of our Divinity.
Does divinity desire?

Can the child sit with Divinity
… and be at peace?

Does the heart desire peace?
Does the brain understand that desire?

What if the brain desired understanding?
Would a peaceful heart emerge?
Would Divinity emerge with it?
